NOTE: Today marks the 30th anniversary of "Bandwagonesque" the third album by Scottish band Teenage Fanclub.
It was a pivotal, career-altering moment, and in March 1991 the Glaswegians went into Liverpool’s Amazon Studios with Fleming producing to record a breakthrough album that began a run of sublime records recalling the romantic power pop of The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Big Star and The Beatles.
"Bandwagonesque" was voted 'album of the year' for 1991 by the magazines Spin and Melody Maker, famously beating Nirvana's landmark album "Nevermind".
In 2013, NME ranked it at number 115 in its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
The album is also included in Robert Dimery's book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
In this concert they played four "Bandwagonesque" songs.
A must have!
Concert divided into separate tracks by Live Bootlegs Blog.
Sound Quality: 10/10
