NOTE: Today marks the 30th anniversary of "Loveless", the second studio album by rock band My Bloody Valentine.
The album is lauded as one of the greatest of all time by many and is the stuff of music industry legend.
This musical masterpiece struggled for the spotlight when it was released, overshadowed by the likes of Nirvana and Pearl Jam. But 3  decades later, the record's defiant atmospherics and tremolo experimentation have become more influential than ever.
Playing against conventions of the shoegaze genre they helped create, no chorus or flanger pedals were used in recording the record.
"Loveless" was the last record to be released by My Bloody Valentine until 2013’s "m.b.v." LP.
