Deerhoof - Live @ Babys All Righ, New York, USA, 04-11-2014

NOTE: Deerhoof are an American independent music group formed in San Francisco in 1994. They currently consist of founding drummer Greg Saunier, bassist and singer Satomi Matsuzaki, and guitarists John Dieterich and Ed Rodriguez. Beginning as an improvised noise punk band, Deerhoof became widely renowned and influential in the 2000s through self-produced albums that combine "noise, sugary [pop] melodies, and an experimental spirit into utterly distinctive music" (AllMusic).
They have released eighteen studio albums since 1997. Their most recent album, "Actually, You Can", was released on 22 October 2021. (from Wikipedia)

Nirvana - Live @ Ruisrock Festival, Turku, Finland, 27-06-1992

NOTE: For the last part of "Polly," Krist played a classical guitar into his microphone.
According to Craig Montgomery, there was one fan with a big sign that on one side it said "Negative Creep" and on the other side it said "Even Flow". This fan is right in front of the stage and the "Even Flow" side was facing toward the stage, so during "Smells Like Teen Spirit" Kurt changed part of lyrics from the chorus to "Even flow, even flow, even flow" instead of "Hello, hello, hello, how low".

Various Artists - Live @ Glastonbury Festival, England, 1992

NOTE: 30 years ago, the 13th edition of the Glastonbury Festival took place.

The year 1990 marked the Festival's 20th anniversary and adoption of its current title, Glastonbury Festival for the Contemporary Performing Arts. Michael Eavis had decided that describing it as a 'theatre festival' to the local council would help him obtain the licence. It also reflected the breadth of performance from theatre and circus to rock and pop. The ticket price was now £38 and the official capacity was 70,000.
The Festival took another leap in its development in the early 1990s as it attracted the new wave of Britpop bands and became an important destination for the emerging dance and rave culture.
1992 was the first year that the donations from the profits of the Festival were made to Greenpeace and Oxfam.
Of course, that year the attention was all focused on the incredible lineup of the Reading Festival and so Glastonbury went practically unnoticed.
However, the festival had excellent performances and some good surprises as we can listen in this compilation.

Jah Wobble’s Invaders of the Heart - Live @ Glastonbury Festival, England, 26-06-1992

NOTE: John Joseph Wardle, known by the stage name Jah Wobble, is an English bass guitarist, singer, poet and composer. He became known to a wider audience as the original bass player in Public Image Ltd (PiL) in the late 1970s and early 1980s; he left the band after two albums. Following his departure from PiL, he developed a solo career. In 2012, he reunited with fellow PiL guitarist Keith Levene for Metal Box in Dub and the album "Yin & Yang". Since 2013, he has been one of the featured pundits on Sunday morning's The Virtual Jukebox segment of BBC Radio 5 "Live's Up All Night with Dotun Adebayo". His autobiography, "Memoirs of a Geezer", was published in 2009. (from Wikipedia)
