Red Hot Chili Peppers was riding high again that summer after years of inaction. The album "Californication", which became the band’s best-selling record, came out the previous month.
During the set large bonfires started to break out in the audience lawn area. These fires eventually caused an audio tower to catch fire during the encore break.
A must have!
