By the summer the summer of 1994 the band was already playing new songs like Mover, The Rolling People and Been On The Shelf Too Long (aka This Is Music). These songs are absent here. Also by 1994 their sound had become more raw, with less reverb , foreshadowing the sound from A Northern Soul.
ReplyDeleteSo I don't believe this show is from Reading Festival 1994. This seems to be the After Dark bootleg which was recorded in Reading the year before on 28th May.
Killer show though.
This bootleg is from Reading 28th of May 93. The whole bootleg is on YouTube. Not to mention this performance is way too aggressive for 94, they were a lot more slow and laid back. Listen to live at Live at Hultsfred Festival for an example, which was happened on the 13/08/1994
