NOTE: Dublin’s
iconic Tivoli Theatre - first opened in 1934 - will shut its doors today,
ending with a night of electronica music. Located in Francis Street, the
concert venue is best known for hosting musicians like the Beastie Boys, Blur,
The Cranberries and Oasis. Last year, it was announced the building would be
knocked in order to make way for a 289-bed aparthotel.
This is the historic concert from The Cranberries back in 1993.
The first song of the encore was introduced by Dolores as “…a song
called Special” which will later be called “No Need To Argue”.
