       What nobody realized at the time was that these were the last complete shows that R.E.M. would ever play with drummer Bill Berry.
When the tour ended, Bill realized he wanted to live a quiet life and left the band to become a farmer.
In this final show of the "Monster Tour", the band give it all they've got - the longest show of the tour, with an amazing surfeit of rarities - 'Zither', 'Find the River', 'Nightswimming', 'Radio Free Europe' and a goofy cover of 'Wild Thing' to finish it off.
A must have!

NOTE: Today marks the 30th anniversary of "Hypocrisy Is the Greatest Luxury" the debut album by American hip hop group The Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy.
For no good reason the album was largely ignored at the time of release, but as a hard hitting time piece of life in 1992 “Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury” remains an extremely valuable piece of work.
Few Hip Hop artists spoke as eloquently as Michael Franti in 1992. He seemed to have a take on everything; consumerism, multiculturalism, capitalism, were just some of the issues he had a grip on, and his unique “Newscaster” style delivery added to the sense of knowledge and authority.
The highlight, and most popular example of Franti and Tse's skill is for the vehement swipe at the centrepiece of modern life. The outstanding “Television, The Drug Of The Nation” casts a hard hitting examination of television and the moral decay of society created by the box in the corner of the room.

The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy was an American hip-hop musical ensemble, active during the early 1990s. The band was formed in 1990 by Michael Franti (vocals, production, misc. instruments) and Rono Tse (drums, percussion, programming), who had been in the Beatnigs. The Disposable Heroes played many concerts, sometimes opening the bill for more well-known acts such as U2, Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana and Arrested Development. They broke up in 1993.
Michael Franti formed Spearhead, which (to date) have released 5 albums and are still a going concern, while Tse worked with the Mystik Journeymen. (from Wikipedia)
