NOTE: The Curls are a Chicago experimental indie-pop group, led by enigmatic and universally respected band leader Mick Fansler.
The lineup consists of husband/wife combo Mick Fansler and Jenny Marshall, Anna Holmquist, Carl Swoveland, Rami Atassi and Michael Macdonald. The band’s live performances now often incorporate a larger ensemble of 9 to 11 people with choreographed dance, reminiscent of a Stop Making Sense fever dream.
The Curls have shared stages with popular music greats like Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett, Maps and Atlases, Post Animal, and Texas Fred.
