Worth tracking down the bootleg of his many covers, his versions of Complicated, I Want It That Way, They Don't Know About Us, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and other very silly songs (along with straight covers of GBV, Magnetic Fields and acoustic renditions of Postal Service songs) are well worth the listen - but also invaluable to hear how he breaks down songs to its core parts, genius.
